วารสารอุทยานสิ่งแวดล้อมนานาชาติสิรินธร Journal of the Sirindhorn International Environmental Park the centre will help incubate people in the local community to become leaders in energy conservation and will use more renewable energy. The Energy for Environment Centre is in the process of designing and building a model community using a renewable energy system called “One Community Energy for One District Model.” This will serve as a source of learning for people to apply acquired knowledge and experience in their own communities. At present, the centre is seeking cooperation from local communities and relevant agencies domestically and internationally to jointly promote and develop dissemination activities of the centre continually. They also hope to make sustainable energy consumption more possible in a social stream of rapid economic growth and a continuously and alarmingly increasing rate of energy consumption. Lastly, Director - General Suthep shared his opinion that Thailand is considered to be a leading country when it comes to energy conservation at both the Asian and the global levels. There are more than 30 types of Energy Awards and Thailand has been awarded nearly half of these over a period of years. It is clear that Thailand is a leader in renewable energy usage among the ASEAN countries and has deployed technology that is recognized around the world. All Thai people should be proud of the wisdom and abilities of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and of Thai folk wisdom. Consequently, all of the Thai people should turn our attention to adjusting energy consumption behaviour so that it is more efficient in response to the ideas of the Royal Father of all Thai people and the ‘Father of the Development of Thailand’s Energy.’ He is concerned about the energy crisis and has been teaching his Thai children until they have learnt the lessons and this is shown by the 15 Energy Awards that Thailand has received from a total of more than 30. Now it is time for the Thai children to be aware of การเรียนรู้ภายในศูนย์พลังงานเพื่อสิ่งแวดล้อม / Learning in the Energy for Environment Centre. and join effects from all sectors and genders to inherit and keep all these valuable Awards that have made worthy of receiving these. By doing so, there will be energy for us our Thai offspring to be able to further consume energy in the future. This is to be suitable for our status as sons of the Royal Father who owns different Awards that Thailand has received.
