Journal of the Sirindhorn International Environmental Park “ปลูกเพื่อโลก! ปลูกเพื่ออนาคต!-โครงการต้น้นไม้พ้พันล้า้านต้น้น” ในประเทศไทย “Plant for the Planet! Plant for the Future!-The Billion Tree Campaign” in Thailand “ปลูกเพื่อโลก! ปลูกเพื่ออนาคต!- โครงการต้นไม้พันล้านต้น” ในประเทศไทย เป็นความร่วมมือระหว่างอุทยานสิ่งแวดล้อมนานาชาติสิรินธร มูลนิธิ เพื่อสันติภาพและสิ่งแวดล้อมโลก (Foundation for Global Peace and Environment-FGPE) แห่งประเทศญี่ปุ่น กระทรวง ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อม โดยกรมส่งเสริมคุณภาพ สิ่งแวดล้อม และองค์การสิ่งแวดล้อมโลก (United Nations Environment Programme หรือ UNEP) มีวัตถุประสงคเ์พื่อเพิ่มพื้นที่ สีเขียว ลดภาวะโลกร้อน และรณรงค์ให้นักเรียน นักศึกษา และ ประชาชนทุกภาคส่วนได้เข้ามามีส่วนร่วมอย่างกว้างขวาง เพื่อส่งเสริม ความสามัคคีในการที่ได้ปลูกต้นไม้ร่วมกันและปลุกจิตสำนึกในการ รักษาสิ่งแวดล้อม สมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี เสด็จ พระราชดำเนินมาทรงปลูกต้นไม้ เพื่อเป็นการเปิดกิจกรรมปลูกต้นไม้ ในโครงการฯ เมื่อวันที่ 19 กรกฎาคม 2551 ณ อุทยานสิ่งแวดล้อม นานาชาติสิรินธร จึงนับเป็นการเปิดกิจกรรมปลูกต้นไม้ในโครงการ “ปลูกเพื่อโลก! ปลูกเพื่ออนาคต!-โครงการต้นไม้พันล้านต้น” ใน ประเทศไทย อย่างเป็นทางการ และหลังจากนั้นได้มีการจัดกิจกรรม ปลูกต้นไม้ในโครงการฯ เรื่อยมา โดยการดำเนินงานโครงการแบ่งออก เป็น 3 ระยะ ในระยะที่ 1 (เริ่มในปี 2551) และระยะที่ 2 (เริ่มในปี 2552) เป็นการจัดกิจกรรมปลูกต้นไม้ในพื้นที่อุทยานสิ่งแวดล้อมนานาชาติ สิรินธร ในพื้นที่ของวัด และโรงเรียนในจังหวัดเพชรบุรี ซึ่งได้รับ ความสนใจจากนักเรียน นักศึกษา และประชาชนทุกภาคส่วนเข้าร่วม กิจกรรมฯ เป็นจำนวนมาก ปัจจุบันอยู่ในระหว่างการดำเนินงานใน ระยะที่ 3 ซึ่งเริ่มในปี 2553 และมุ่งเน้นการจัดกิจกรรมปลูกป่าชายเลน ในพื้นที่อุทยานสิ่งแวดล้อมนานาชาติสิรินธร มีการเปิดกิจกรรมในระยะ ที่ 3 โดยการจัดกิจกรรมปลูกป่าชายเลนถวายพ่อหลวงในวันที่ 5 ธันวาคม 2553 เพื่อเฉลิมพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวฯ เนื่องในวโรกาสวันเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษา หลังจากนั้นได้มีการจัด กิจกรรมปลูกป่าชายเลนในโครงการฯ อย่างต่อเนื่องและได้รับ ความสนใจจากหน่วยงานต่างๆ เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมเป็นจำนวนมาก วารสารอุทยานสิ่งแวดล้อมนานาชาติสิรินธร The joint campaign “Plant for the Planet! Plant for the Future!-The Billion Tree Campaign” is organized by the Sirindhorn International Environmental Park (SIEP), Foundation for Global Peace and Environment (FGPE) of Japan, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment by Department of Environmental Quality Promotion (DEQP) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). This tree planting campaign aims to increase green areas, to reduce global warming, to encourage students, people and public sectors for their participation as well as to enhance harmony among the participants while planting trees together and to raise awareness on environmental conservation. On July 19, 2008 the campaign was launched officially with royal attendance of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn who graciously planted trees at the Sirindhorn International Environmental Park, Phetchaburi Province. Since then, the tree planting campaign has been organized continually. The campaign was divided into 3 phases. During Phase 1 (2008) and Phase 2 (2009), tree planting activities were carried out in the Sirindhorn International Environmental Park and areas of temples and schools in Phetchaburi Province. It was interested by number of students and general public to participate in tree planting activities. Currently, the campaign is in the third phase which has been started since 2010 and focused on mangrove plantation activity in the Sirindhorn International Environmental Park. The campaign was launched on the occasion of His Majesty the King’s Birthday Anniversary on December 5, 2010. After that, mangrove plantation activities were continually organized with number of participants from various organizations, educational institutes and schools. 71
