โครงการประกวดภาพถ่าย อุทยานสิ่งแวดล้อมนานาชาติ สิรินธร อุทยานสิ่งแวดล้อมนานาชาติสิรินธร จัดทำโครงการประกวดภาพถ่าย อุทยานสิ่งแวดล้อมนานาชาติสิรินธร ถ้วยพระราชทานสมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี โดยโครงการฯ ดังกล่าว มีวัตถุประสงค์หลักเพื่อเทิดพระเกียรติ สมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี และกระตุ้นให้ประชาชน เกิดความตระหนักในการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อม ผ่านกิจกรรม การถ่ายภาพ รวมทั้งเป็นประชาสัมพันธ์อุทยานฯ ให้เป็นที่รู้จักแพร่หลายมากยิ่งขึ้น และส่งเสริมการมีส่วนร่วมของผู้ที่มาใช้บริการของอุทยานฯ สำหรับผู้ที่สนใจและรัก การถ่ายภาพ สามารถเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมกับทางอุทยานฯ โดยการส่งภาพเข้าประกวด ได้ตั้งแต่บัดนี้ - วันที่ 15 กันยายน 2554 เพื่อลุ้นรับรางวัลมากมายมูลค่ารวมกว่า 100,000 บาท สำหรับรายละเอียดเกี่ยวกับขั้นตอนและวิธีการส่งภาพเข้าประกวด สามารถดูได้ที่ www.sirindhornpark.or.th หรือสอบถามข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมที่ 0 3250 8405-10, 0 3250 8379, 0 3250 8352, 0 3250 8396 การจัดประชุมผู้นำอาเซียน+3 เรื่องการผลิตและ บริโภคอย่างยั่งยืน ครั้งที่ 4 อุทยานสิ่งแวดล้อมนานาชาติสิรินธร ร่วมกับมหาวิทยาลัย สหประชาชาติ จัดการประชุมผู้นำอาเซียน+3 เรื่องการผลิตและบริโภคอย่าง ยั่งยืน ครั้งที่ 4 ระหว่างวันที่ 6-7 ตุลาคม 2554 ณ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย กรุงเทพมหานคร โดยการจัดประชุมฯ ดังกล่าวมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อตอบรับ ทศวรรษของการศึกษาเพื่อการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืนขององค์การสหประชาชาติ (UNDESD 2005-2014) และสนับสนุนการอภิปรายในหัวข้อเรื่องอุตสาหกรรม สีเขียว เศรษฐกิจสีเขียว และกลยุทธ์ด้านการผลิตและการบริโภคอย่างยั่งยืน โดยมีผู้เข้าร่วมการประชุมฯ จากกลุ่มประเทศสมาชิกอาเซียนรวมถึงอีก 3 ประเทศ อันได้แก่ จีน ญี่ปุ่น และสาธารณรัฐเกาหลี ทั้งนี้ ผู้เข้าร่วมการประชุมจะ เข้าเยี่ยมชมและร่วมทำกิจกรรมต่างๆ เช่น กิจกรรมปลูกต้นไม้ ณ อุทยาน สิ่งแวดล้อมนานาชาติสิรินธร ในวันที่ 8 ตุลาคม 2554 การจัดประชุมนานาชาติว่าด้วยเรื่องความหลากหลาย ทางชีวภาพในภูมิภาคเอเชีย อุทยานสิ่งแวดล้อมนานาชาติสิรินธรร่วมกับศูนย์อาเซียนว่าด้วย ความหลากหลายทางชีวภาพ (ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity หรือ ACB) กำหนดให้มีการจัดประชุมนานาชาติว่าด้วยเรื่องความหลากหลายทางชีวภาพ ในภูมิภาคเอเชีย (Asia Regional Forum on Biodiversity) ระหว่างวันที่ 3-4 พฤศจิกายน 2554 ณ อำเภอชะอำ จังหวัดเพชรบุรี โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเฉลิม พระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวฯ เนื่องในวโรกาสเจริญพระชนมพรรษา ครบ 84 พรรษา ในปี 2554 และสร้างองค์ความรู้และแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ เพื่อเสริมสร้างศักยภาพการดำเนินงานด้านการอนุรักษ์ความหลากหลายทาง ชีวภาพของภาคธุรกิจต่อชุมชน ส่งเสริมกลยุทธ์ในการอนุรักษ์ความหลากหลาย ทางชีวภาพ ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นเพื่อนำไปสู่การปฏิบัติ ตลอดจน การสร้างความตระหนักและให้การศึกษาในด้านความหลากหลายทางชีวภาพ ซึ่งเป็นการต่อยอดจากผลการประชุมภาคีอนุสัญญาว่าด้วยความหลากหลาย ทางชีวภาพครั้งที่ 10 (10th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity - CBD/COP 10) ณ เมืองนาโกย่า ประเทศ ญี่ปุ่น ในเดือนตุลาคม 2553 โดยการประชุมนานาชาติครั้งนี้จะมีผู้เข้าร่วมจาก หน่วยงานต่างๆ ทั้งภาครัฐและเอกชน จากทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศใน ภูมิภาคเอเชีย รวมถึงผู้แทนจากศูนย์การเรียนรู้ในภูมิภาคฯ เพื่อการพัฒนา อย่างยั่งยืน (Regional Centre of Expertise for Education on Sustainable Development หรือ RCE) จากประเทศแถบเอเชียและแปซิฟิก นอกจากนี้ อุทยานสิ่งแวดล้อมนานาชาติสิรินธรซึ่งได้รับการรับรองจากมหาวิทยาลัย สหประชาชาติ (UNU) ให้เป็นศูนย์การเรียนรู้ในภูมิภาคฯ ชะอำ (RCE ชะอำ) ได้ ร่วมกับมหาวิทยาลัยสหประชาชาติ จัดการประชุมผู้แทนศูนย์การเรียนรู้ใน ภูมิภาคฯ เพื่อการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน ในเอเชียและแปซิฟิก ในวันที่ 2 พฤศจิกายน 2554 ณ อุทยานสิ่งแวดล้อมนานาชาติสิรินธรอีกด้วย วารสารอุทยานสิ่งแวดล้อมนานาชาติสิรินธร Journal of the Sirindhorn International Environmental Park The Photo Contest Project of the Sirindhorn International Environmental Park The Sirindhorn International Environmental Park (SIEP) organizes the photo contest project of SIEP with the winning cup of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The main objective is to honor HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and to raise public awareness on the conservation of natural resources and environment through photography. This activity can also promote public relation of SIEP and encourage participation of the visitors. The meeting objectives are to respond to the United Nations Decade of Education for Sustainable Development (UNDESD 2005-2014), and to promote the general debates on Green Economy, Green Growth and on Sustainable Production and Consumption (SPC) strategies. Participants will be from ASEAN member countries as well as from three additional countries of China, Japan and Republic of Korea. In this occasion, the participants will also visit SIEP and join various activities, such as tree planting on October 8, 2011. Asia Regional Forum on Biodiversity The Sirindhorn International Environmental Park (SIEP) and the ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity (ACB) will jointly organize the Asia Regional Forum on Biodiversity on November 3-4, 2011, Cha-am District, Phetchaburi Province. The objectives are to celebrate His Majesty the King of Thailand’s 84th Birthday Anniversary in 2011, and to build knowledge and share experiences for business engagement with communities for the promotion of potential activities on biodiversity conservation. It is also to promote biodiversity conservation strategies involving indigenous knowledge that can be transformed into actions. Furthermore, the Forum aims to raise public awareness and promote education on biodiversity. This is a top-up activity resulted from the CBD/ COP 10 (The 10th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity) held in Nagoya, Japan in October 2010. Participants will be from government agencies and private sector both in Thailand and other Asian countries, including representatives of Regional Centre of Expertise for Education on Sustainable Development (RCE) from Asia-Pacific countries.
