The success of the project can been seen in Figures 9, 10 and 11. Wherever possible, other mangrove species such as Nypa fruticans, Avicennia alba, Hibiscus tiliaceus and Aglaia cucullata are also planted (Figure 12). As part of the project, a river near Sandakan has been officially named after ISME and the first phase of the project ended with a publication of a book (Figure 13).
