sprouting  from  stumps  and  roots  is  a  feature  of  most  plants  in  this  forest,  especially  the  dipterocarps. The  tree  density  of  this  forest  in  2010  was  high,  3,864  trees  ha-1  (618  trees  per  plot). Death  of  many  small  trees  were  observed  in  2015  caused  by  competition  for  environmental  factors,  with  no  impact  of  forest  fires  and  timber  harvesting  in  this  protected  forest.  A  few  species  of  very  low  density  disappeared,  and  resulted  in  a  reduction  of  species  richness. <25 <25 <25 <25 26-50 26-50 26-50 26-50 51-75 51-75 51-75 51-75 76-100 76-100 76-100 76-100 101-200 101-200 101-200 101-200 Total Total Total Total <25 26-50 51-75 76-100 101-200 Total Stem-gbh  class  (cm.)
