นิทรรศการพลังงานเพื่อสิ่งแวดล้อม Energy for environment exhibition. วิกฤติสิ่งแวดล้อมจากการใช้พลังงาน นำเสนอภาพรวมเกี่ยวกับผลกระทบที่เกิดจากการผลิตและ การใช้พลังงาน เช่น ภาวะโลกร้อน ภาวะฝนกรด ภาวะน้ำทะเลสูงขึ้น อากาศเป็นพิษ ฯลฯ โดยจะเน้นถึงผลกระทบด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม เศรษฐกิจ และสังคม ภาวะเรือนกระจกและฉลากคาร์บอน ให้ความรู้เรื่องปรากฏการณ์ภาวะเรือนกระจก และนำ เสนอผลกระทบที่เกิดขึ้น รวมทั้งให้ความรู้เรื่องฉลากลดคาร์บอน (Carbon reduction label) ที่แสดงระดับการลดการปล่อย ก๊าซเรือนกระจกออกสู่บรรยากาศของผลิตภัณฑ์ ตั้งแต่การจัด เตรียมวัตถุดิบ การผลิต การใช้และการจัดการหลังการใช้ การจัดการขยะ นำเสนอผลกระทบของขยะต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม และการจัดการขยะ ด้วยวิธีที่ถูกต้องตามแนวทาง 1 เอ 3 อาร์ (1A3R) รวมทั้งยังเป็นแหล่งเรียนรู้สำหรับนักเรียน นักศึกษาและ บุคคลที่สนใจ ซึ่งประกอบด้วย แหล่งเรียนรู้ด้านพลังงานทดแทน จากพลังงานแสงอาทิตย์ แหล่งเรียนรู้ด้านพลังงานทดแทนจาก พลังงานลม แหล่งเรียนรู้เรื่องพลังงานชีวมวล แหล่งเรียนรู้การผลิต ไบโอดีเซล แหล่งเรียนรู้เรื่องการใช้พลังงานแสงอาทิตย์ในการอบแห้ง แหล่งเรียนรู้เรื่องป่าชายเลนและกิจกรรมดูนก แหล่งเรียนรู้เรื่อง ระบบบำบัดน้ำเสียแบบควบรวมบึงประดิษฐ์ และแหล่งเรียนรู้เรื่อง การป้องกันการกัดเซาะชายฝั่ง วารสารอุทยานสิ่งแวดล้อมนานาชาติสิรินธร Journal of the Sirindhorn International Environmental Park power, wind power, biomass energy, biodiesel production, sun-dried power, mangrove and bird watching, constructed wetland wastewater treatment system and coastal erosion protection. In dimensions of learning at SIEP, there are training courses to build understanding of energy and environment, emphasizing on hands-on experimental and practical activities from both exhibitions and field visits and sustainable energy development. Research results are transferred and disseminated through several public communications such as brochures, manuals, books and websites to public to study and make use of them widely. More importantly, SIEP is home to disseminate information on the sufficiency economy philosophy of HM the King. The philosophy is focused on practical guidelines for all walks of life. There is an exhibition presenting learning experiences for the philosophy of the sufficiency economy by the support of the Crown Property Bureau. The experiences shown are examples of practical practices which can be materialized in everyday life. The exhibition on energy in light of sufficiency economy presents equipment and technology for renewable energy and energy conservation technologies. Other interesting activities include training in conservation of energy, natural resources and environment, learning areas on energy and renewable energy 9
