โครงการอันเนื่องมาจากพระราชด��ำริ / Royal Development Project รางวัลอันภาคภูมิ l Proud Prize ด้วยสมรรถนะในการปรับปรุงน��้ำให้มีคุณภาพดีขึ้นของกังหันน��้ำชัยพัฒนา เป็นที่ยอมรับอย่างกว้างขวางทั้งในประเทศ และต่างประเทศ องค์กร นักประดิษฐ์ที่เก่าแก่ที่สุดของยุโรป ที่รู้จักกันในชื่อ “บรัสเซลล์ ยูเรก้า” ได้ ประกาศรางวัลสิ่งประดิษฐ์ดีเด่น ประจ��ำพุทธศักราช 2543 ต่อหน้านักวิจัย นักประดิษฐ์ และผู้เข้าชมงาน ถึงเหตุผลของการพิจารณาให้รางวัลกังหันน��้ำ ชัยพัฒนาว่า “รางวัลต่างๆ ที่ประกาศในวันนี้ มิใช่จะพิจารณามอบให้กัน อย่างง่ายๆ สิ่งประดิษฐ์ทุกๆ สาขา จะต้องสามารถน��ำไปใช้งานได้กว้างขวาง เกิดประโยชน์ต่อการพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตและสิ่งแวดล้อมทั่วโลก ดังนั้น กังหันน��้ำชัยพัฒนาเป็นที่น่าสรรเสริญให้เป็นสิ่งประดิษฐ์ดีเด่นในครั้งนี้” รางวัลบรัสเซลส์ ยูเรก้า ที่ทรงได้รับการทูลเกล้าฯ ถวายถึง 2 ครั้ง ได้แก่ ครั้งที่ 1 ในปีพุทธศักราช 2543 สภาวิจัยแห่งชาติได้น��ำผลงาน “เครื่องกลเติมอากาศที่ผิวน��้ำหมุนช้าแบบทุ่นลอย” หรือ “กังหันน��้ำชัยพัฒนา” ในพระองค์เข้าประกวดในสิ่งประดิษฐ์ประเภทที่ 1 เกี่ยวกับการควบคุมมลพิษ และสิ่งแวดล้อม ปรากฏว่าได้รับการยกย่องจากคณะกรรมการจัดงานว่าเป็น ผลงานที่ทรงคุณค่าและมีประโยชน์อย่างยิ่งในการบ��ำบัดน��้ำเสียในครั้งนั้น ทรง ได้รับทูลเกล้าฯ ถวายรางวัลรวมทั้งสิ้น 5 รางวัล โดยในวันที่ 16 กุมภาพันธ์ 2544 ณ ศาลาเริงใจ วังไกลกังวล อ��ำเภอ หัวหิน จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว ได้พระราชทาน พระบรมราชวโรกาสให้นายอ��ำพล เสนาณรงค์ องคมนตรี ในฐานะประธาน กรรมการบริหารสภาวิจัยแห่งชาติในขณะนั้น น��ำนายโยเซ ลอริโย ประธาน องค์กรบรัสเซลส์ ยูเรก้า ประเทศเบลเยี่ยม พร้อมด้วยคณะทูลเกล้าฯ ถวาย รางวัลดังกล่าว With the capacity for water quality improvement of the Chaipattana water turbine it has become wid ely accepted domestically and internationally. The oldest organization of inventors in Europe known as “Brussels Eureka” announced the Outstanding Invention Award of 2000 before an audience of researchers, inventors and the general public, providing the reason for granting the award to the Chaipattana water turbine: “The awards announced today are not ones to be given easily. Inventions from every field must be able to be utilized widely, benefit the development of quality of life and the global environment. Consequently, the Chaipattana water turbine is an invention to be praised as an outstanding invention this time.” Below are the two Brussels Eureka Awards that have been given to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej: 1st Award: In 2000, the National Research Council of Thailand entered the invention, “Low Speed Surface Aerator” or “Chaipattana Water Turbine” by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej into the contest as the first type of inventions in the category of pollution control and the environment. The invention was praised by the Organizing Committee as an innovation of great merit and benefit in the field of water treatment. On that occasion, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej received five awards in all. On February 16, 2001, at the Roengjai Pavillion, Klai Kangwon Palace, Hua Hin district, Prachuabkirikhan province, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej granted Mr. Ampon Senanarong, the Privy Councilor, the opportunity, as president of the Administrative Board of the National Research Council of Thailand, to usher Mr. Jose Loriaux, President of the Brussels Eureka of Belgium with his colleague, to present the awards. 10 เหรียญรางวัลสรรเสริญพระอัจฉริยภาพแห่งการใช้ เทคโนโลยีอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ และประกาศนียบัตร เกียรตินิยมจากบรัสเซลส์ ยูเรก้า ประจ��ำปีพุทธศักราช 2543 Medal in Praise of His Genius in Using Technology Efficiently with a Certificate of Honour for the year 2000 from Brussels Eureka. ถ้วยรางวัลผลงานประดิษฐ์ดีเด่นสูงสุด Award Cup for the Most Outstanding Invention. ถ้วยรางวัลผลงานสิ่งประดิษฐ์ดีเด่น Award Cup for an Outstanding Invention. ถ้วยรางวัลสรรเสริญพระอัจฉริยภาพด้านการประดิษฐ์ Award Cup in praise of His Genius in Invention. เหรียญรางวัลสิ่งประดิษฐ์ดีเด่นระดับโลก พร้อม ประกาศนียบัตร และเงินรางวัลจ��ำนวน 2,000 เหรียญ ดอลลาร์สหรัฐ จากองค์กรทรัพย์สินทางปัญญาโลก Medal for the World’s Outstanding Invention with a certificate and prize m oney of US$ 2,000 dollars from the Wor ld Intellectual Property Organization.
