โครงการอันเนื่องมาจากพระราชด��ำริ / Royal Development Project 2. งานชลประทาน พื้นที่โครงการตามพระราชประสงค์หุบกะพง มีอ่างเก็บน��้ำ จ��ำนวน 4 อ่าง ประกอบด้วย 1) อ่างเก็บน��้ำหุบกะพง ขนาดความจุ 360,000 ลูกบาศก์เมตร 2) อ่างเก็บน้��ำห้วยทราย-หุบกะพง ขนาดความจุ 800,000 ลูกบาศก์เมตร 3) อ่างเก็บน��้ำห้วยแก้ว ขนาดความจุ 274,000 ลูกบาศก์เมตร 4) อ่างเก็บน��้ำห้วยน��้ำหมาก ขนาดความจุ 100,000 ลูกบาศก์ เมตร หากน��้ำในอ่างมีไม่เพียงพอจะต้องท��ำการสูบน��้ำด้วยพลังงานไฟฟ้า โดยโครงการฯ จะมีสถานีสูบน��้ำอยู่ 2 แห่ง จ��ำนวน 5 เครื่อง เพื่อ สูบน��้ำจากคลองชลประทานสายเขื่อนเพชร-หัวหิน สูบน��้ำตามท่อส่ง น��้ำ เส้นผ่าศูนย์กลาง 10 นิ้ว และ 12 นิ้ว ไปเก็บไว้ที่ถังพักน��้ำ ขนาดบรรจุ 1,000 ลูกบาศก์เมตร จ��ำนวน 2 แห่ง ซึ่งตั้งอยู่ในที่ สูงจากระดับพื้นที่ของหมู่บ้านสมาชิก เพื่อให้เกิดแรงดันนí้ำส่งเข้า หมู่บ้าน การสูบน��้ำด้วยพลังงานไฟฟ้า จะสูบเมื่อมีความจ��ำเป็น เท่านั้น เนื่องจากค่าใช้จ่ายกระแสไฟฟ้ามีราคาสูงมาก ปัจจุบันระบบ ชลประทานและการบริหารจัดการน��้ำในโครงการฯ สหกรณ์ การเกษตรหุบกะพง จ��ำกัด เป็นหน่วยงานรับผิดชอบ 3. งานส่งเสริมสหกรณ์ ในพื้นที่โครงการตามพระราชประสงค์หุบกะพง มีสถาบันเกษตรกร ซึ่งถือว่าเป็นสถาบันหลักของโครงการฯ คือ สหกรณ์การเกษตร หุบกะพง จ��ำกัด เป็นสหกรณ์ประเภทสหกรณ์การเกษตร จดทะเบียน เมื่อวันที่ 12 สิงหาคม 2514 เกษตรกรในโครงการเป็นสมาชิกสหกรณ์ ธุรกิจของสหกรณ์ที่บริการสมาชิก ได้แก่ ธุรกิจสินเชื่อ ธุรกิจซื้อ ธุรกิจ ขาย ธุรกิจบริการ และธุรกิจแปรรูป อ่างเก็บน��้ำห้วยทราย - หุบกะพงในพื้นที่โครงการ / Huai Sai - Hupkapong reservoir project. 2. Irrigation Work The area of the Hupkapong Royal Purpose Project has four reservoirs: 1) Hupkapong Reservoir, with a storage capacity of 360,000 cubic metres 2) Huai Sai-Hupkapong Reservoir, with a storage capacity of 800,000 cubic metres 3) Huai Kaew Reservoir, with a storage capacity of 274,000 cubic metres 4) Huai Nam Mak Reservoir, with a storage capacity of 100,000 cubic metres If there is not enough water in the reservoirs, then it has to be pumped up by electrical energy. The project has two water pumping stations with five pumps for drawing up water from the Khuenpet-Hua Hin irrigation ditch, as well as the pumping water through the 10 and 12 inch diameter pipes, which feed the two 1,000 cubic metre storage capacity tanks that are situated high above the village, so that water can be driven by water pressure. Using electricity to pump the water only takes place when absolutely necessary because of the high cost of electricity. At present, the irrigation system and water management of the project are under the responsibility of the Hupkapong Agricultural Co-operative Ltd. 3. Cooperative Promotion Work In the area of the Hupkapong Royal Purpose Project, there is a farmer institute, which is the major institute of the p roject - tha t is, the H upkapong Hupkapong Agricultural Co-operative Ltd. It is an agricultural cooperative registered on August 12, 1971. The farmers in the project are members of the cooperative and members are offered services relating to loaning, buying and selling, service and processing. 22
